Acoustic Sing-Along

curtis's picture

Green sheen streaming, gleaming
Strumming, chumming, finger-drumming
Clapping, audience entrapping
Whispering, callus blistering
Knuckle cracking, lightly snacking
Baritone, frosted scone, unalone
Out-of-tune, leaving soon, dancing moon
Warm cups, no pups, meeting up
Voices hush, heady rush, mouths a-thrush
No mic, short hike, sleepy tike
Stories told, kisses bold, hands enfold
Pegs turn, faces burn, clock-hands churn
Memories, piano keys, shaky knees
Wobbly fans, playing bands, bespeckled nans
Strings bright, errant fright, eyes shut tight
